Funko investors win appeal
SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit revived some claims in a putative class action filed by Funko shareholders after the company lost more than half of its value due to the write-off of millions of its excess Pop! collectible figurines. The appellate court ruled that the shareholders can pursue their claims that Funko misled them regarding the state of its inventory management and the use of its existing information technology systems.
