L.A. County Accused In Jail-Cell Murder

Thompson, 38, was arrested on drug-possession charges after running a stop sign, and Baca allowed Latino gang members to beat him to death on Feb. 12, 2006, though the sheriff knew racial tensions in the jail could lead to this, the family says.
