Arizona voter list lawsuit

PHOENIX — A Florida-based civil liberties organization has filed a federal lawsuit against Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, accusing him of neglecting to remove ineligible voters from voter registration lists. Citizen AG claims Fontes failed to remove 1.2 million ineligible voters who didn’t respond to confirmation notices or vote in the past two federal elections from its voter rolls. The group is asking the court to force Fontes to produce records to dispute its claims and to strike ineligible voters from the voter rolls before the 2024 General Election.
