Cuomo to depose therapist

MANHATTAN — Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is allowed to depose a female state trooper’s talk therapist by Nov. 14, 2025, in the trooper’s lawsuit alleging Cuomo sexually assaulted her and other state employees. The court notes it is unusual that Cuomo waited so long to ask to depose this witness, but it is likely the therapist will be relevant to his defenses and the trooper’s emotional distress claims.
