Essential travelers

SAN DIEGO — Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced Tuesday during a visit to the San Diego Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego, California, that, starting Jan. 22, essential travelers crossing through ports of entry will be required to show proof of having received a Covid-19 vaccine. Such proof is already required of nonessential travelers.
