SAN FRANCISCO – The Justice Department said Tuesday it will intervene in a whistleblower lawsuit accusing California health care provider Sutter Health and its affiliate Palo Alto Medical Foundation of violating the False Claims Act by faking the health statuses of Medicare Advantage Plan enrollees.
