Hazing claim lost

ANNISTON, Ala. — A federal court in Alabama, for the second time, rules against the Title IX claim brought against a school district and football coach by a student who was a freshman who was bullied by older teammates. Those students exposed their genitals to him and tried, but failed, to put a key in his anus and turn it as part of a hazing ritual. Though he alleged they emasculated him by calling him “gay” and “pussy,” the allegations do not show he was targeted due to his sex, i.e. because he is male, and not because he was a lightweight freshman.
