WILMINGTON, Del. - Icahn Partners sued Amylin Pharmaceuticals, claiming it has the right to nominate a slate for a new board of directors to be elected at the 2012 shareholder meeting, without advance notice, to try to sell the company to Bristol-Myers Squibb, in Chancery Court.
