SAN JOSE, Calif. – A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed with leave to amend a class action claiming defects in the iPhone 6’s touchscreen, finding heightened pleading requirements for fraud claims were not met and that warranty claims indicate a design – rather than workmanship – defect.
