NEW ORLEANS — A candidate for judge in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans was properly enjoined from airing a campaign ad that claimed her opponent, the incumbent, did not pay child support for 13 years, an appeals court in Louisiana ruled. There was no order to pay child support, and the incumbent judge paid a lump sum to his former wife under a consent judgment.
