LOS ANGELES (CN) - Westmoore Lending claims Ed McMahon owes it $250,000 plus interest on a 2006 loan. McMahon secured the loan with his Beverly Hills house, which he is trying to save from foreclosure.
McMahon, longtime sidekick to the late Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show," was sued in July by his former attorneys, who claim he owes $275,000 in legal bills. And a division of Countrywide Financial Corp. has begun foreclosure proceedings on McMahon's $4.8 million house, which he is trying to sell.
Westmoore sued McMahon in Superior Court.
