WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - MBIA Insurance claims Morgan Stanley fraudulently induced it to insure $223 million of mortgage-backed securities by misrepresenting the underlying loans, for which MBIA already has paid more than $71 million in claims; it demands damages for fraud and breach of contract, in Westchester County Court.
