NEW YORK — A federal judge ruled that five scenes in Netflix's “Central Park Five” documentary potentially defame Linda Fairstein, who was chief of New York’s sex crimes prosecutions unit in 1989 during the racially charged prosecution of five Black teens for the rape of a young white woman jogging in Central Park. All five were exonerated in 2002 and won a $41 million settlement from the city.
