New Century Mortgage charges customers "illegal and exploitative fees, refused to credit their payments ... placed insurance on property that was sufficiently insured" and abused its powers "to make loans and continue practices that were illegal and unconscionable," according to a class action in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland.
