Single-subject legislation
LINCOLN, Neb. — Planned Parenthood lost at the Nebraska Supreme Court in its challenge to a bill that restricts gender-altering care for minors and abortion services. The state’s high court found no violation of the state constitution’s single-subject requirement; all provisions of the bill can properly described as concerning matters of “public health and welfare.”
